How Living The Dream came to be:  Sid began Living The Dream as a Collegiate Football Coach.  To further the dream he needed to find a way to heal his body from a fused ankle do to many sports injuries, and release his asthma he had from childhood.  Sid began to see that a dream was possible through yoga and healed in every way.  As a football coach be began to teach yoga to his football team and still knew there was more to it.  Over 20 years of coaching football, teaching yoga and inspiring others Sid found his way and doors began to fly open.  lululemon had come to the first “Living The Dream” in Nashville, TN.  Lululemon was made aware of Sid’s goal of traveling the world to spread peace, through their ambassador goal bomb program.  In January of 2014 lululemon helped Sid begin this dream.  This has resulted in the program today and Sid is on a mission to help everyone Live The Dream they desire.

Healing Breath @ Sid Yoga Center: Towson
Oct 10 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Release your inner blocks

Healing Breathwork is a tool for healing, and clearing old patterns within ones body. Learn how to use your breath for emotional release, mental clarity, and physical freedom.

Sid’s Healing Breathwork is a powerful approach to self-exploration and healing that integrates insights from modern consciousness research, transpersonal discovery, and spiritual practice. The process itself uses very simple means: it combines natural baby’s breathing with evocative music in a comfortable setting. With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to tap into deeper a consciousness.

This experience is appropriate for everyone and will leave you with clarity, inner peace and connection to yourself.
Sid McNairy will be your lead guide for this session, who has countless hours studying Holotropic and transgressional breathwork under the direct supervision and teachings of Grandmother Morningstar, who was a direct student of founder of holotropic breathwork Stanley Grof’s for years.

Space is limited. Sign up today!

Through mythology, we will uncover hidden symbolisms and learn the four ways to work with them as part of a spiritual practice. Discover how knowing and working with your archetypes can profoundly shift you, especially during moments of life transitions, and how these ancient teachings have practical relevance to your life, bringing peace of mind and uncovering our underlying common spirit.

Jyothi will illuminate the practices and knowledge of Vedanta that lead to great peace of mind and prepares you for the goal of analyzing and realizing the Self, or ultimate freedom. When learnt and properly assimilated, this knowledge has the power to make you immortal.

About the teachers:

Manoj Chalam uses humor and personal anecdotes in his lectures and workshops to illuminate Hindu mythology. An Indian-born scientist with a PhD from Cornell University, Manoj helps

He has also compiled a book on the symbolisms of Hindu and Buddhist deities. Manoj presents workshops on Hindu symbolisms and Tantra at yoga studios, keynotes at festivals, ashrams, and universities.

sudevi kramer thai yoga therapy training bodywork

Create healing.

with Sudevi Linda Kramer M.A., L.M.T.
Vedic Thai Massage-Assisted Yoga is traditionally performed on a large comfortable cotton futon floor mat which gives the receiver both comfort and full-body support. Working on the floor also allows the therapist to move freely around and above the client, making for effective use of the therapist’s bodyweight and mechanics. The therapist can also work with the receiver in a variety of positions, including prone, supine, side-lying, and seated.
In a Vedic Thai Massage-Assisted Yoga session you will wear loose-fitting or stretchy clothing that allows your body to move.No oils are needed. The techniques used work far beneath the surface of the body, effecting the deeper layers of the muscles and skeleton.
After the completion of this two-day Thai Yoga Bodywork course, participants will have the foundation for giving a classic 90-minute session. We will work in supine, prone, side-lying, and seated asanas. All participants will receive hands-on assistance, as well as a course manual to take home.

Learn: Beautiful sequences of exotic stretches and Thai Bodywork techniques, also known as assisted Yoga. Thai Bodywork is marma therapy and synthesizes acupressure, rhythmic compressions, ancient breathing arts and meditation to produce profound rest and rejuvenation. Mantras for the marmas and chakras will also be included.

Study: A 3000-year old traditional Southeast Asian Folk Art, which creates inspired tranquility and radiant whole health.

Experience: Simple procedures to assist in rapidly eliminating dis-ease, both physical and emotional.

Enjoy: Strengthened vitality through bhandas, pranayamas, and meditation techniques for personal focus and effect.

Sudevi Linda Kramer is a highly sought-after Vedic Conservatory certified teacher of Thai-Yoga Bodywork, studying in Thailand and training closely with Mukti Michael Buck. She is certified in Integral and Jivamukti Yoga and was sudevi kramer thai yoga therapygraced by Sri Swami Satchidananda and Yoga masters Sharon Gannon and David Life. Sudevi was inducted into the World Massage Hall of Fame at Berea College in June 2010. Sudevi serves as the Yoga Director for the Vedic Conservatory.

“Sudevi is the real deal. Her presence initiates a magical spiritual journey intermingled with true rejuvenation and cellular healing. Her classes hold a special light that leave you feeling new again. Sudevi’s hand’s-on instruction is simple and complete — you get home and you can actually give a session without the DVD, and even though you are wowed by her mastery – you are even more wowed that you can do it too. She takes the confusion out of sequencing. I take her classes as often as I can— even after I’ve met my ce requirements — and some block, some something is always lifted and the world seems brighter.” ~Shawn M. Brinza, LMT, aka “The Massage Gypsy.”

“Sudevi’s presence is amazing and I would recommend taking any and every form of yogic study with her. Her love of yoga, meditation, and mantra are a big part of this work. I was able to apply the principles and produce the work for a change! Some teachers are razzle dazzle and you have to keep coming back to “Get it.”Sudevi is a born teacher, and the art is pranically transmitted and skillfully imparted. She has a calming presence and a relaxed easy manner. The peace I experienced is now part of my life and practices. ~Tana Trichel, Monroe, LA, Yoga Student.

Glow Yoga teacher training tt Phase I 2014

@ Glow Yoga,  Gulf Shores AL

 December 5-11, 2014

Learn to lead, teach and inspire others.

An empowering process for those wanting to teach yoga in your community and world. Are you a current yoga teacher looking to master your skills, or a yoga student seeking to delve deeper in your practice? Our weeklong trainings are a great opportunity to capture these goals. This program composes the first part of 200hour teacher training.

The goal of this week is “Establishing power for yourself and others.” You will be introduced to the foundations of assisting/adjusting, and be exposed to understanding the anatomy of yoga postures and movement of the body. Discussions on the Yoga Sutras and philosophy of our flow will teach students about the depth and versatility of practicing yoga. You will also learn how to translate these timeless teachings into your current classroom experience. You will be introduced to leading a class by receiving voice coaching, and learning sequencing basics. A unique aspect of this training is the amount of time spent in practicing your teaching skills through live teaching sessions to your peers. Receive feedback throughout the program and grow.

This weeklong session is an inward journey that brings the focus to the internal by recognizing where we hold back, and where we can break through.
