We all have an operating system and in many cases it has limited our connection to our infinite power. We have come into this mode of operation from the fear of losing love in some way. By learning how to shift our operating system we are able to see our world from a new perspective. As we land in this new perspective we are then able to live an amazing life from a deeper state of love.

Life Training is exactly that – a training for all people. Whether you are a brother, a sister, a mother, a father, a yogi, an athlete, a doctor, a clerk or any other label you may carry this is the space for you. A yoga practice is not required! Yoga is not involved in this Life Training, so please get your practice in before or after. This is a study group that will help you dive deep into yourself to uncover hidden layers holding you back from living the life you wish to lead. Life Training is lead by Sid McNairy. Sid is the owner, founder and operator of Sid Yoga Center in Towson, Maryland and the author of Walking with Love and Empowerment and Beyond. Sid has helped thousands and thousands before you see this perspective and he can help you, too. Life the life you deserve to live!

In this module of advanced teacher training the emphasis is on awakening a deeper connection to spirit, by gaining access to a spiritual practice of your own accord. Meditation is one of the primary focuses of The Spirit of Yoga Module. You will dive into four layers of this practice and deepen your connection to how spirit is moving through your body.

Influenced by his Native American culture, Sid McNairy has brought the foundations of the First Nations people into his teacher trainings. These traditions and his time with Grandmother Morningstar have been an integral part of who Sid is today. It is his desire to share these experiences with yoga teachers and enhance their connection to spirit. Part of this week includes Inner Quest which is an opportunity for you to commune with nature. You will head onto Grandmother Morningstar’s land and experience Native American culture and the oneness of all.

Additional curriculum includes advanced sequencing, self discovery, posture clinics, and Sid McNairy’s Breathwork.

Shift your being as you connect to the Spirit of Yoga!

*Prior to booking your housing accommodations, be sure to apply. Once your application is accepted, you will receive further details regarding the schedule. Part of the week includes time away from the studio at Grandmother Morningstar’s land.

200 hour teacher training:

Each week of training consists of 100 hours including contact hours and assignments to complete after the program. Therefore, to complete our 200 hour training program, the trainee is to attend Phase I and Phase II. In order to attend Phase II, Phase I training must have been completed. However, trainees are able to attend Phase 1 only. In order to receive certification through Sid Yoga and graduation of our 200 hour Teacher Training program, post-training practicums and assignments are to be completed. These hours and experiences are for the trainee to practice what they learned during their training and apply them into practical settings. Once these post- program requirements are fulfilled and approved by the SYTT Board, the teacher will receive their certificate of completion.

Our program is a Yoga Alliance 200hr Registered Yoga School.

Phase II curriculum focus is on voice coaching, class sequencing, methodology, principles of teaching, business of yoga, establishing your power and authenticity as a teacher, and how to teach to all levels. During this week you will have several opportunities to teach live to your peers and program leaders, while receiving feedback full in growth. After completing Phase II, you will be ready to lead others and teach yoga to various levels.

Students will immerse more deeply into assisting techniques, and apply practical anatomy methods into the class room by understanding the differences within the body and how it relates to yoga. Philosophy will be discussed related to ancient yoga texts, and how these philosophical understandings can translate into classroom yoga teaching. The sequence training will be completed with mastering how to teach an inspiring all-levels class. As the theme of our trainings is “Live it to Give it”, we will use methods of Matrika yoga to recognize the reflections we carry, and empower ourselves to lead the change we wish to see.

Here at Sid Yoga we understand that you have to “Live It To Give It!” Get ready to be empowered and open up to going beyond! We look forward to walking every step along the way with you! Peace.
