Time to get you grounded into the flow.
You will learn the foundations of the practice while finding the joy of yoga. You will be guided through a series of movements including poses such as Warrior I and II, Chattarunga, Eagle, Triangle, Tree, Bridge, Wheel, Pigeon, and much more. Come and experience this in-depth concentration and feel the power as you are guided through the flow. Appropriate for those brand new to yoga and/or the studio, as well as those seeking to learn more basic principles.

You will be moving through the the Sid Yoga power vinyasa flow incorporating postures to release inner blocks and get your body loose. What you will get from this class is an open mind to becoming non judgmental in your own practice. Not to mention a deep sweat, a deep feeling of invigoration, and a deep sense of aliveness. The same feeling that comes to you when you are out dancing the night away with your friends can be found here at Club Yoga. This is a new way to find your freedom and vitality.

Transform your personal practice. You will be guided to test limits of postures with which you are comfortable, and step into various postures that your mind has inhibited you from doing. This is a workshop to create and have fun exploring the endless asanas (postures). Drop your worry, and find what you CAN conquer. Be fearless!
Class material is rooted in alignment principles and includes learning to integrate into various deep twists, inversions, and unique playful postures. Have a question about your practice or a pose? bring it with you! Today is the day to reach your next level.

Dance. Create. Let go. Feel joy!
Led by: Lilly Cryan
Join Sid Yoga instructor Lilly Cryan in celebrating movement and dance! Let go of fear and self consciousness and open up to freedom in your movement. This workshop will look at both yoga and dance to see the similarities between the two practices.
No prior dance experience is required just an openness to move your body in a new way. Dancers will receive a deepened understanding of their craft by viewing dance through a new lens. Non-dancers will receive new knowledge about body awareness, fluidity, and expression. Both yoga and dance provide a mans of self expression through the connection of the mind and body. Expand your understanding, create new movement, and most importantly find JOY!
This workshop includes:
- A combined yoga and dance warm up
- Explanations of basic dance and yoga principles, how they overlap and can be applied to each practice
- Learn to improvise in dance
- Learn a short dance combination

Join SYC as we do a 21 day cleanse as a community that will help you to shed the winter heaviness and have you feeling light and reenergized for the spring and summer season to come. The cleanse is based on a partial food fast our fellow SYC instructor, Crystal Milana, has done for several years called the Daniel Fast. The fast consists of eating all fresh non-processed foods to give your body a kick start into eating cleaner and more fresh to get out of the habit of eating the comfort foods we all enjoy in the winter.
There are two different options in the fast depending on how far you want to take it. We will support and encourage each other through social media. We encourage you to keep a food journal to help you stay on track and share recipes with the community.
As you sign up for the fast SYC will send you the two different options. This fast is applicable to anyone looking to lighten up and shine from the inside out! It is not a cleanse where you can only eat raw foods, drink certain juices etc. You will find yourself being able to eat a variety of foods from fruits to vegetables, legumes, grains, almond milk and even some meats (depending on what option it is you choose).

Powerful Sanskrit chants set to modern melodies – while you practice yoga with Sid McNairy. Let go and let your yoga flow through the beats and rhythms of Girish’s soul stirring tunes. Class ends with a Sanskrit lullaby during savasana followed by one call and response chant.

Open Your Heart with Kirtan
Led by: Girish
Girish, an accomplished musician of many genres, former monk infused in spiritual practice, loving wordsmith linking lyrics and rhythm in a blissful musical event, sings traditional Sanskrit mantras with a modern, funky, yet deeply devotional twist. Accompanied by his amazing band, Girish invites his audience at his kirtan concert to participate by singing along, call and response chanting, and dancing. Girish has been recommended and featured in “O, The Oprah Magazine”, “Yoga Journal” “Spirituality and Health Magazine”, “LA Yoga Magazine”, “Common Ground” and “Yogi Times.” Girish’s original music catalog of five albums is popular in yoga studios and music festivals all over the world, and his “Mantras and Music” book will be published by Simon and Schuster January 2016.
A Celebration of Sisterhood
As women we directly impact the well-being of our family and friends, influence the decisions within our communities, and serve as creators, advocates and the primary support systems for the world. This workshop is designed to nurture your feminine divine power, explore your sacred energy of transformation through asana and sound, and be inspired by sisterhood. Faith will guide you through meditation and a yoga practice based on female symbolism reflected in various cultures. Bring a journal and an open heart.

The inverted postures of yoga are some of the most beneficial yet intimidating of the asanas. You will be introduced to and practice postures such as headstand, forearm stand, handstand, and more. You will be guided through alignment, technique, proper modifications, and feel how to develop the power in your core strength.
Learn to use the wall, or a buddy, as a way to continue practicing inversions beyond this class. Let go of the fear, we are here to support.
No inversion experience is necessary… This is where you come to learn. All are welcome!
