This workshop is in a class format. Unwind and de-stress. Ease into a healing yoga practice that releases tension in your body and stress in your mind. This practice is about conscious movement, feeling, and connecting inward. You will be guided through a sequences of postures that are simple, yet with longer holds to exercise deeper tissues. At times you will be supported with blocks and bolsters as you hold the postures to help your body open up on a deeper level. Open up to achieve optimal health and vitality. You will come away from this class feeling clear, expansive, and relaxed. The perfect compliment to your Power Vinyasa practice.

Join SYC as we do a 21-day cleanse as a community that will help you to shed any heaviness and have you feeling light and reenergized for the holiday season. The cleanse is based on a partial food fast our fellow SYC instructor, Crystal Milana, has done for several years called the Daniel Fast. The fast consists of eating all fresh non-processed foods to give your body a kick start into eating cleaner and more fresh to get out of the habit of eating the comfort foods we all enjoy.
There are two different options in the fast depending on how far you want to take it. We will support and encourage each other through social media. We encourage you to keep a food journal to help you stay on track and share recipes with the community.
As you sign up for the fast, SYC will send you the two different options. This fast is applicable to anyone looking to lighten up and shine from the inside out! It is not a cleanse where you can only eat raw foods, drink certain juices etc. You will find yourself being able to eat a variety of foods from fruits to vegetables, legumes, grains, almond milk and even some meats (depending on what option it is you choose).
Build a meditation practice, move forward and create a new way of being!
We are introducing a new program for all who are desiring a deeper connection to Spirit. This 21-day challenge is here to support you along the way to building a meditation practice that will help you move forward into a way of being to understand a new and elevated operating system. You will come away with a beginning or advancement to a daily meditation practice.

Meetings: February 28, March 7, March 13, and March 20: 8:15pm – 9:15pm. (March 20, participants are invited to take the 6:30pm Sunday Sundown class free of charge!)

Life Training (Training 2)

We all have an operating system and in many cases it has limited our connection to our infinite power. We have come into this mode of operation from the fear of losing love in some way. By learning how to shift our operating system we are able to see our world from a new perspective. As we land in this new perspective we are then able to live an amazing life from a deeper state of love.
Life Training II is the next step in this training for all people. You have completed Life Training I, and this next step is to open a new space for yourself. A yoga practice is not required! Yoga is not involved in this Life Training, so please get your practice in before or after. This is a study group that will help you dive deep into yourself to open new dimensions that hold you back from landing in the most powerful you. The Life Training series is lead by Sid McNairy. Sid is the owner, founder and operator of Sid Yoga Center in Towson, Maryland and the author of Walking with Love and Empowerment and Beyond. Sid has helped thousands and thousands before you see this perspective, and he can help you, too. Live the life you deserve to live!

Discover your inner warrior: awaken to peace and clarity
The intention of this workshop is to learn martial arts technique through the eyes of a yogi. Both practices seek unity through one’s mind, body, spirit, and breath. We will connect our breath to every move and keep it simple within. Learn how to position your hands and feet to deliver proper, simple, fast, and effective offensive and defensive techniques. We will experiment our rhythm, timing, and agility formlessly.
In the real world, it is not a matter what color belt you wear. Fighting is an art of simplicity.
